The Geelong District Football & Netball League would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Lee Doherty, who has recently stepped down from her role as GDFNL Netball Manager.

Across her years of service, Lee has been a driving force behind the continued growth, strength, and success of netball within the GDFNL, from our junior pathways through to our senior competitions. Her passion for the game has left an enduring impact on our league and on the many people who have been part of it.

On behalf of the GDFNL, we thank Lee for the support she has shown to our netball community. The reach of her efforts will continue to be felt for many seasons to come through the people she has supported, mentored and inspired.

We are extremely pleased to hear that Lee is moving into a role and space where she can utilise her invaluable skills, experience and expertise on a broader level. There is no doubt that whichever organisation or community benefits from her next chapter will be richer for her involvement.

Lee, thank you for everything you have given to the Geelong District Football & Netball League. We wish you every success and happiness in your future endeavours and look forward to seeing the continued impact of your passion and leadership within the netball landscape.
