The Geelong West Giants hosted its second annual Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Workshop this evening.
More than 100 players from the club's football and netball sections stayed in the club's function space until 9pm to listen to the stories and advice from the Shaka Project mental Health program.
Geelong West will travel to Anakie this Saturday before playing host to Corio in the second annual Shaka Cup on Saturday, May 2.
"It's a very special event for both clubs both Corio and Geelong West," Giants captain Zach Rowarth explained.
"Internally for us it brings our group together."
