The Geelong West Giants' GDFNL section will be hosting its past players' day today.
Stalwart Paul Robinson, who recently played his 200th club game, said it is one of his favourite days on the calendar.
"We looked like we were going to shut the doors in 2016 so to go on and win a final against Bannockburn in 2018 was very special," he reflected.
"We had a run of games where we were winning when we didn't have any right to."
When asked if the Giants win their first senior premiership since 1987?
"I wouldn't be home for a week," he added.
The Giants will play host to Corio at Scaada Stadium this afternoon.
Both clubs are playing off for the second annual Shaka Cup.
