Round 14 A Grade Previews
With only five rounds left to play until finals, the A Grade netball competition is tighter than ever and Round 14 is packed with some exciting match ups.
All eyes will be on the live streamed game between Bannockburn and Belmont on Sunday as the reigning premiers prepare to take on the top side this season.
Bannockburn continue to lead the competition with only one loss for the season, giving them a six point lead ahead of Inverleigh who sit below them in second place.
Belmont will be looking to keep their finals hopes alive and secure a back-to-back premiership win though they currently sit just outside of the top five at sixth place.
The last time these two sides met was in Round 6 where a strong Bannockburn outfit were able to defeat Belmont by 15 goals.

Belmont will have the home court advantage over Bannockburn as they welcome the competition leaders to their newly refurbished facilities at Braces & Faces Reserve this Sunday.
This match up could be a grand final preview as both Bannockburn and Belmont continue to push the limits and strive for the premiership trophy.
Another exciting contest this round is between Winchelsea and Bell Post Hill who drew back in Round 6 despite Winchelsea leading for most of the game.
Winchelsea will be eager to secure the win this time and solidify their position in fourth place as both Thomson and Belmont trail them with just two points less.

Whilst finals may be out of reach for Bell Post Hill, their competitive spirit could allow them to secure the win this round and shake up the top half of the competition.
Up next in Round 14 is a challenging game for Anakie who will face East Geelong who sit comfortably in third spot after a consistent season so far.
Anakie are hoping to take advantage of East Geelong who will only have six days to recover after playing last Sunday.
“We have quite a strong midcourt so that can be quite important for us. With them only having a six-day break, they might be struggling, so we’ll see how it goes on Saturday,” Anakie A grade netball captain Zariah Webb said.

East Geelong defeated Anakie by 30 goals when they last met in Round 6 so Anakie be hoping to redeem themselves this time around.
Two teams who have nothing to lose but have shown incredible improvement this season are both North Geelong and Werribee Centrals.
North Geelong secured their first win in Round 9 whilst the Centurions only lost to top of the ladder Bannockburn by 13 goals last round so this contest shouldn’t be overlooked.
To close out Round 14, Corio will come up against Thomson who only just sit in fifth place by a small percentage whilst the winless Geelong West Giants will take on Inverleigh.
