The pink was out in force as Inverleigh's annual Pink Day once again proved a tremendous success both on and off the court.

Through the support of players, volunteers, sponsors and the wider community, an outstanding $5,563.67 was raised for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

Club officials thanked everyone who contributed to the day, whether through donations raffle support, attendance or volunteering behind the scenes.

"It was an amazing effort by all involved," GDFNL president Darryl Jarvis reflected.

A special thank you was also extended to Fernwood Fitness Waurn Ponds for once again donating the event’s major prize.

Senior netballer Vanessa Finley-McDonald was also recognised for her tireless efforts in helping coordinate the event.

From organising sponsors and raffle prizes to arranging food, decorations and donations, Finley-McDonald played a major role in ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

With another successful Pink Day now complete, planning is already underway to make the 2027 event even bigger and better.
