Local photographer Sharlene Vale said it is surreal to be appointed as the league's photographer for season 2026.
Prominent across all GDFNL matches across seasons 2024 and 2025, she hopes to add to her CV which includes GDFNL Interleague photographer (2025).
"I felt pretty privileged to see the best of the GDFNL play all together and it was the first time I had captured netball so I fell into it and loved what I was doing so I kept going," she told GDFNL Media.
As for her tips to the next generation?
"Don't ever doubt yourself and don't ever let anybody tell you that you can't do it," she concluded.
