Round 10 of the GDFNL A Grade netball competition is packed with match ups you won’t want to miss.

After winning their first game of the season last week, North Geelong will take on Anakie who sit just above them on the ladder.

“We’ve definitely been working hard to get the win, so it was nice for our hard work to pay off,” North Geelong A Grade player Kiera Marsh said.

Whilst Anakie will be looking for their second win of the season in Round 10, North Geelong won’t be going down without a fight.

“If we go into that game exactly how we came in last week, we could put it to most teams. It was such a massive effort by everyone,” North Geelong A Grade captain Marney McRandall said.

With an equal amount of wins and a chance for a team to get back to back wins, the North Geelong and Anakie matchup is sure to be a competitive game.

Another exciting contest will take place at the Richmond Oval, where East Geelong and Thomson will battle it out for fourth place on the ladder.

East Geelong had a great 12 goal win against Bell Post Hill last round whereas Thomson will be hungry for 4 points after its loss to Winchelsea.

Eagles Claudia Cook and Molly Neeson from will face their Interleague teammates Bree Caldwell, Amelia Jarvis, and Chey Philpott in an exciting turn of events.

With an almost identical percentage and an equal amount of wins for the season both East Geelong and Thomson will be eager to secure a hard-fought win in round ten.

A potential finals matchup will also take place in Round 10, where a top of the ladder Bannockburn side will line up against Winchelsea who sit just below them at third.

Bannockburn and Winchelsea will be approaching the game with confidence both having lost only one game for the season.

Whilst Bannockburn have the home advantage, Winchelsea will be looking to challenge the leading side in what is expected to be a thrilling matchup.

Despite sitting on the lower end of the ladder, Werribee Centrals and Geelong West Giants have a lot to play for in Round 10.

The Centurions will be hoping to secure their second win for the season whilst the winless Giants will be keen to make their mark on the scoreboard.

The final games to keep an eye on in Round 10 include Bell Post Hill who will be facing a strong Inverleigh side and Belmont who are keen to take the court against Corio.
